Here is what we have done the last month and a half.
For the last 5 or 6 years we have done a Memorial Day trip with some of our friends from Sioux Falls. This year we met at Grand Lake, CO. We had such a good time. Here is a few pictures from the trip.
Group shot
We had a hot tub at the house we rented. The kids loved it during the day, and the adults loved it at night!
We drove over the 12,000 foot pass. It was the first day it was open.
Snowball fight at the top.
We rode a tram up the the top of the mountain in Estes Park.
This is the stroller that I use when I want to run or walk. One day I was running and they both fell asleep. Dillon looks like he got the better end of the deal.
Clint came out to visit for almost a week. We had a fun time with him. We tried to find enough things to keep us busy. One of our first adventures was to go to the sand dunes. We had a good time, and great weather. We hiked to the top. Dillon did so good, but now when we talk about the sand dunes he says, "no hike sand dunes." He thought it was a little too hard!
Grilling hamburgers before our hike.
Resting

Clint helping him to the top.
We all made it.
Playing in the water after we got back down.
One of the last days Clint was here we hiked up to Table Rock. It is a 1.6 mile hike one way. Dillon did so good, but the last part was really steep. He wanted me to carry him.
We made it.
We also went to the zoo.
A day after Clint left Grandma and Grandpa Van Beek came out. It was so good to see them. We took them up to Stanley. We stayed the night up there. While we were there we went to the Yankee Gold Dredge, went fishing, and drove to Red Fish Lake.
This is Dillon's first time fishing. He was so excited. On the way to the lake that we fished in, I asked him what he thought fishing was. He said, "I'm really not sure."
Grandpa VB and Dillon built a fort. Grandpa VB got stuck, so Dillon was pulling him out.
Grandma VB painting Bailey's toe nails. She seemed to like it, and Dillon would have loved to have his done too.
Aaron and Dillon went camping up in Stanley with Grandma and Grandpa Koning. I didn't go because I had to do somethings for our church VBS. They had a great time. Dillon even got to do some more fishing.
Bailey is 8 months old already!
She is such a happy and easy baby. Dillon also likes to be a big helper.
Giving herself a kiss
Dillon wanted to climb the tree in our front yard. I put him up in it and he didn't want to come down.
Thanks for checking in with us!
